At the end of lower secondary education, students can choose to pursue technical and vocational training, the duration of which varies from one to three years. This sector is still underdeveloped. State vocational training is the responsibility of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training. NGOs and private companies, with their professional training structures, also play an important role.

To date, L'AVENIR LEUR SOURIT is in contact with an NGO likely to welcome young people from Pailin and train them for a trade.

We are counting on our next trip to Cambodia to define partnership arrangements with this vocational training center.

Depending on the professional project, some children will be directed to other public or private establishments such as a teacher's school, police school, tourist guide school, etc.
